The College Years series is truly just the gift that keeps on giving and ‘The Sophomore’ was the absolute perfect story for Ellie and Jackson.First and foremost, I absolutely love that these characters' stories are so intertwined. We get to meet new characters, but continue to catch up with old ones and it just makes my heart happy! Second, Jackson Rivers, despite his flaws, is one of the swooniest male characters ever. He can be a jerk at times, but he can also be so stinking sweet to Ellie and it just adds to his allure.I absolutely loved that Ellie stood her ground and fought for herself in this story. She’s let Jackson treat her a certain way previously and to see her come out of her shell and demand respect was freaking inspiring. I loved everything about this story, and I’m now dying even more for Caleb’s story!! The Sophomore is fantastic. It is exactly what I expected when it comes to Jackson and Ellie and then some. I love this new side of Ellie we see now she is in college. She knows how to push buttons and what she wants. When it comes to Jackson, I've got to say this I had a love/hate relationship with him. He could have gone so many different ways but overall he turned out to be spectacular and everything I hoped him to be. I love how Ellie and Jackson just share this bond that is perfect. They have something special that will pull at your heart and then some. I love we get all those other couples we love helping Jackson and Ellie wade through everything. Their love didn't start out perfect, it took a lot of fight but in the end this is just and epic love that will pull your heart and put a smile on your face. I really loved this one and could not put this one down. I simply loved every moment spent with Ellie and Jackson. I'm so looking forward to Caleb's book next. You need to one click this.
