354 I have used the first edition for a long time to help me in preparing lessons and just refreshing my concepts of God and life.I’m taking a new student through Theology so I wanted to give him Grudem’s book because it is the best thing to help him grow and learn. But the 2nd edition is what was available. So that is what he got.When it came I read the introduction to see what the differences were. If you have had the first edition read the introduction, if the additions are something you want to learn about then buy this edition. I bought it on Kindle since I only needed to read the new items. But my student is thoroughly enjoying the whole book.What is even more fantastic was discovering a “Workbook” that goes along with it. This workbook was prepared by graduate students to help other students dig deeper into the work. I highly recommend that you buy both if this is your first time reading Grudem. It will greatly enrich your study.
